Dear MOAA Members and Friends,

This has been a roller coaster of a month as the COVID-19, corona virus, pandemic has affected every aspect of our lives. On March 4, 2020, we were informed by the venue where we host our monthly membership luncheons that we would not be able to meet there until further notice.This was followed , on March 11, by the cancellation of the Florida Council Of Chapters (FCOC) Annual Conference that was set for May 2020. Today, March 18, your MOCVC Board voted to cancel our annual End-of-Year Spring Fling. These actions were taken due to guidance from federal and state medical officials and the Florida Governor's declared Sate Of Emergency on March 9, 2020, and the fact that our members are in the "higher risk" population. The prudent and correct thing to do was to cancel these events. As the situation changes,we will reasses our plans and keep you informed. We ask that you follow published safety recommendations and please contact us if you have a question or concern in this regard. Hopefully, we will resume our meetings again soon.
