Chapter Awarded MOAA National 5-Star Level of Excellence Rating
3rd Year in a Row
Today we were notified that our chapter was again recognized by
MOAA National with the 5-Star Level of Excellence Award for our outstanding
achievements in 2017. Every year, MOAA’s affiliates compete to receive a four-
or five-star Levels of Excellence Award. The very best councils and chapters
receive five-star awards, while above-average councils and chapters receive
four-stars.
This achievement is directly attributable to our
membership. Whether supporting the national scholarship fund, JROTC
activities, the Salvation Army toy drive, or participating in the Veterans Day
parade, or recruiting new members, you all had something to do with this.
