What is the Florida Military Message Center

What is the FMMC?

The FMMC is used by the Florida Council of Chapters MOAA Inc, to coordinate and build legislative influence on military related issue, for MOAA legislative alerts and update retransmissions, and for messages of interest to veterans and others who are not members of MOAA. Anybody interested in the eight purposes in MOAA’s preamble may subscribe.

We welcome members of the legislative and executive branches of local, state and national government, as well as members of the MOAA councils and chapters staff and national board as subscribers. Our database is kept confidential and not shared with anyone outside of the normal operation of this Message Center.

The FMMC provides the following types of communications:

The MOAA Legislative Alerts and Updates retransmitions of MOAA legislative alerts and updates to those who do not wish to receive such traffic directly from MOAA.

The VetNews transmits traffic of interest veterans and non-veterans organizations as well as to council subscribers.

The Florida Council of Chapters publishes a newsletter Comminque and post it on the website. Delivery is reserved to an email notice when a new issue is posted.
