MOAA Northeast Florida Chapter participated at the Vets-4-Vets Quarterly Gathering on Saturday February 29, 2020. The event was held at the Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena and the theme for this gathering was to honor our Vietnam Vets. A special thanks goes out to Semper Fidelis Society, the five area Veterans Councils, the numerous Veteran Support Organizations (VSO) and Vystar for a wonderful event. Joining our chapter at our information/recruiting table was USSVI (Subvets) First Coast Base.
In attendance were several chapter officers and members; Chapter 1st VP CWO5 Marc Manor, Chapter Secretary/Membership Chair LT David Mosley, Chapter Board Member/Transition Liaison CWO5 Wayne Elliott, Chapter Members CAPT David Rifkin, LT Margaret Wright, CWO4 William Walsh and Chapter Member Col William G Byrns, USAF (Ret) who is a former POW and was the keynote speaker at this V-4-V Quarterly Gathering.
