Welcome to the Lee Coast Chapter of MOAA


LEE  COAST CHAPTER MOAA Purpose: 
To promote the purposes and objectives of the MOAA, an independent, national, non-profit, politically nonpartisan veterans' organization dedicated to maintaining a strong national defense and preserve the earned entitlements of members of the uniformed services and their families and survivors.  In addition, the Chapter shall foster fraternal relations among retired, active and former officers of the uniformed services and their National Guard or reserve components, and serve the community and nation.

Originating on Sanibel in  1992, this Chapter is an incorporated 501(c)(19) not-for profit nonpartisan organization known as as Lee Coast Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America; with 100+ members from the Sanibel, Captiva, Fort Myers, South Fort Myers and Fort Myers Beach area. All chapter members hold membership in our 501(c)(3) Lee Coast Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America Foundation, Inc. which provides service to area Veterans, their families and Lee County JROTC. Our chapter is an affiliate of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) and chapter member of the Florida Council of Chapters (FCOC). MOAA and its affiliated chapters and councils are nonpartisan.”

LeeCoast MOAA is a member of: SWFL MILITARY MUSEUM & LIBRARY, relocated to the Edison Mall(239-541-8704)

DINNER-MEETING SCHEDULE   is typically the 2nd Monday of each month Nov-April, social 5:30 & dinner 6:30 followed by meeting/program.      

Monday, Jan. 4th  CANCELLED - Last Roll Call Ceremony, postponed until further notice.

          Monday, Feb. 8th - CANCELLED 

Depending on Covid & health guidelines, we hope to resume our dinner meetings in March, location to be announced

(may change, due to minimum reservation requirements at Crown Colony Golf & Country Club):

dates would be Monday:  March 8,  April 12, and possibly May 10th before summer break.  

Wed. April 7th - the Annual MacKenzie-Janes Tribute Golf Outing at Shell Point 

Membership in MOAA and the Chapters is open to any Active Duty, Retired or Former officers or Surviving Spouse from all of the services, depicted in the flags below.
