Dear Colonel Albrecht,
Congratulations! The MOAA Foundation Board of Directors has reviewed the recommendations of the 2020 independent community grant scoring panel, and the Indian River Chapter has been awarded a grant of $5,000.
We are very pleased to offer you this grant in support of your community outreach program. Your grant is a testament to the value the scoring team placed on your application and the likely impact your important work will have in your local military and veteran-family community.
Attached for your signature is a Memorandum of Understanding providing terms of the grant, including a requirement for your chapter to have in place a General Liability insurance policy before funds may be transferred. Also attached is a document on how to publicize your grant award.
Congratulations again!
