Historic Mayport Chapter hosts monthly meetings in Fleet Landing state of the art "Johnson Hall" which accommodates up to around 300 persons with dual large screen projection capability with several HDMI on-stage and control room link locations for source computers, a sound system and hearing loop to feed sound directly into blue-tooth enabled hearing aides.

Monthly meetings include updates on VA rules and processes, updates from local elected officials, an update from the Commanding Officer of neighboring Naval Station Mayport, and visits from other informative guest speakers on local medical resources, and community resources and activities.

The Chapter is active in supporting local military families in partnership with USO Mayport, works to sponsor naval ships at Naval Station Mayport, and visit facilities and units in the Mayport area. The Chapter also provides support to two ROTC units at local universities (USA and USN/USMC) and eight JROTC units at High schools in the area. The Historic Mayport Chapter partners with our neighboring Ancient City Chapter in St Augustine to introduce JROTC cadets to the military history in the area.
