Sporting Clay Shootout

4th Annual Sporting Clay Shootout

The Military Officers Association of America – Ancient City Chapter held their 4th Annual Sporting Clay Shootout on March 28, 2022, at Saltwater's Shooting Club.

Teams from The Birchall Boys, JIMCO, The Lonnie Pomar Group, Price Barber Shop, and Logan’s Run competed for prizes and glory.

Price Barber Shop took First place, with JIMCO not far behind in Second and The Lonnie Pomar Group taking Third.

Top Gun honors went to Alan Deal of Logan’s Run with a score of 96.

Contributions were received from VJ Usina, Beaver Toyota, K9s for Warriors, Butch Burkett, Rick and Jo Cozby, Jerry Hanchett, and Harry Metz.

Thanks to Nancy Birchall, Gayle Cargilo and Carolyn Wallace for providing the delicious luncheon enjoyed by all.

Jim Cargilo and Ron Birchall, Co-Chaired the event which raised over $4700 to benefit High School JROTC Cadets and support opportunities and programs for Community Veterans.

Many thanks to all who participated and to the volunteers, Bill, Jerry H., Rik, and Tom who helped make this event a true success.
