Welcome to the Lee Coast Chapter of MOAA

MOAA:  The professional association for military officers and their families since 1929, currently has about 380,000 members from every branch of service.  Collectively they are a powerful voice for a strong National defense and representing the interest of military officers at every stage of their careers.

LEE COAST CHAPTER Purpose:  To promote the purposes and objectives of the MOAA, an independent, national, non-profit, politically nonpartisan veterans’ organization dedicated to maintaining a strong national defense and preserve the earned entitlements of members of the uniformed services and their families and survivors.  In addition, the Chapter shall foster fraternal relations among retired, active and former officers of the uniformed services and their National Guard or reserve components, and serve the community and nation.

Originating on Sanibel in  1992, this Chapter is an incorporated 501(c)(19) not-for profit nonpartisan organization known as as Lee Coast Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America; with 100+ members from the Sanibel, Captiva, Fort Myers, South Fort Myers and Fort Myers Beach area. All chapter members hold membership in our 501(c)(3) Lee Coast Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America Foundation, Inc. which provides service to area Veterans, their families and Lee County JROTC. Our chapter is an affiliate of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) and chapter member of the Florida Council of Chapters (FCOC).
