NEXT FLAGLER COUNTY CHAPTER FUNCTION

Dinner Meeting
on
Thursday, 22 May 2008
at
Palm Coast Yacht Club
Social Hour 1800
Dinner 1845

The May meeting of the Flagler County Chapter will be a general membership dinner at the Palm Coast Yacht   Club on Thursday 22 May.  The guest speaker for this meeting will be Aleda Kleckauskas who will discuss services available through Hospice.  Social hour begins at 1800 and dinner will be served at 1845.  To avoid disappointment and help control costs, reservations are required not later than Friday, 16 May 2008.  For reservations or further information, call COL Tom Beauchamp at (386) 446-0551.

Flagler County, located in the northeastern part of the state, between St. Augustine and Daytona Beach, is home to Flagler County Chapter. The Countys 504 square miles are bounded on the east by 19 miles of coastline with public access beaches and are traversed by the Intracoastal Waterway.
Flagler County Chapter (FL41) was chartered 08 October 1986 with forty-two signatories on the original charter. Its growth has paralleled that of Flagler County and it presently has more than 160 members. The Chapter meets monthly, usually on the fourth Thursday, September through June, alternating between noontime luncheon meetings and evening dinner meetings. Due to a lack of convenient military facilities, the Chapter uses various local eating establishments for its meeting places. Time and place are announced in OFFICERS CALL the Chapter newsletter, which is also published September through June.
Contact points for the Chapter are COL Tom Beauchamp USA (Ret), President, at (386) 446-0551 or CDR Helen Delaney, USN (Ret), Membership Chairman, at (386) 439-2997.
