2008 term of office
General: The Treasure Coast Chapter was organized on April 11, 1975. MAJ Don White, USA, Retired, and his wife Nina (both lifetime MOAA Members and long time Chapter leaders). Members are from St Lucie and Martin Counties. Annual chapter dues are $10 for regular members and $5 for auxiliary members.
The Chapter has a very successful annual Toys for Tots Drive in conjunction with the Marine Corps Reserve and supports seven Junior ROTC detachments at St Lucie and Martin Counties High Schools.
Meetings: The chapter meets monthly September through June, normally on the 3rd Thursday of the month at the Holiday Inn on U.S. 1 in Port St. Lucie. Meetings begin with a half hour social followed by a served lunch or dinner. February, April, June, October and December are evening dinners which begin at 6 P.M. The remaining months are luncheons starting at 11:30 A.M.
The annual meeting for the election of officers, setting of dues and general business is conducted in November with the installation of new officers and board members conducted at the December meeting.
