The South Central Florida Chapter of MOAA is an incorporated Florida non-profit organization.  As a member of the Florida Council of Chapters and an affiliate of MOAA national, we are non-partisan and apolitical.  We are a 501.c.19 non-profit, tax exempt veteran organization.  We fully support MOAA national’s mission and goals:

MISSION STATEMENT

A national non-profit organization operated exclusively for purposes beneficial to the interests of the nation and its Uniformed Services personnel, consisting of military officers from every branch of Service – including active duty, National Guard, Reserve, retired, former officers, and their families, that advocates a strong national defense and represents the interests of military officers at every stage of their careers.

 

GOALS 

  1. Defend the honor, integrity and supremacy of the National Government and the Constitution.

  2. Support a strong national defense.

  3. Support Service members and their families.

  4. Further the education of children of Service personnel.

     

     

    MOAA membership is open to all officers, commissioned or warrant, whether on active duty, retired, former, reserve or national guard of all the seven uniformed services, including the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the Public Health Service.
