EDITORIAL POLICY:

The South Central Florida Chapter of MOAA is an incorporated Florida non-profit organization.  As a member of the Florida Council of Chapters and an affiliate of MOAA national, we are non-partisan and apolitical.  We are a 501.c.19 non-profit, tax exempt veteran organization.  We fully support MOAA national’s mission and goals:

MISSION STATEMENT

MOAA National is a national non-profit organization operated exclusively for purposes beneficial to the interests of the nation and its Uniformed Services personnel, consisting of military officers from every branch of Service – including active duty, National Guard, Reserve, retired, former officers, and their families, that advocates a strong national defense and represents the interests of military officers at every stage of their careers.


South Central Florida Chapter Mission

The South Central Florida Chapter of the Military Officers Association of American (MOAA), a non-profit 501 (c) (19) organization has as its mission to enhance and improve the lives and life styles and the overall environment of its members; to support and serve the communities in our catchment area, to advocate in the legislative environment in matters pertaining to active duty, retired and former military personnel and their spouses and families; and to enhance the image of our nation’s uniformed services in the community which we serve.




 

GOALS 

  1. Defend the honor, integrity and supremacy of the National Government and the Constitution.

  2. Support a strong national defense.

  3. Support Service members and their families.

  4. Further the education of children of Service personnel.

     

     WHO CAN JOIN?

    MOAA membership is open to all officers, commissioned or warrant, whether on active duty, retired, former, reserve or national guard of all eight uniformed services, including the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the Public Health Service.
