Bio for MAJOR CAROL A. BURGESS USA (Ret): Area VP for MOAA: Carol Burgess enlisted in the U.S. Army in March of 1978, attaining the rank of Specialist 6th Class prior to being discharged to accept a Commission as a 1LT in the Army Nurse Corps. Military assignments include: Fort Devens, San Antonio, Fort Campbell, Fort Belvoir, and Fort Benning
