CWO5 Phyllis J. Wilson, USA (Ret)

Bio for CWO5 Phyllis J. Wilson, USA (Ret) : Chief Warrant Officer Five Phyllis J. Wilson (Ret) served more than 37 years of active and reserve service. In 2017, she was inducted into the Army Women’s Foundation Hall of Fame She served at all echelons from tactical to strategic to include: Joint Special Operations Task Force senior intelligence analyst deploying twice to Iraq; 5th Command CWO advisor to Chief of Army Reserve; coordinated policy and statutory changes to the U.S. Army Warrant Officer Cohort; Military Fellow (2015-2016) for Chief of Staff of the Army Strategic Studies Group. CWO5 Wilson (Ret) education summary is: Management Master’s Degree, Webster University; BS RN Nursing degree; BS Sociology/German degree; Defense Language Institute for German and Spanish; three Associate of Science degrees; Executive Level Program for Advanced Security Studies; She maintains RN licensure in Alabama, Florida and Virginia. She was the national chairperson for the 2018 U. S. Army Warrant Officer 100th Anniversary observance committee; is a member of the Association of the U.S. Army-Reserve Components advisory board of directors committee; Florida ambassador for the Women in Military Service for America (WIMSA) memorial. In 2015, CWO5 Wilson founded a 501 c charity-Wounded Warriors Have Families Too. As a Citizen-Soldier, Phyllis Wilson has held positions as a Director of Nursing; Director of Clinical Operations; a Social Worker; a Home, Health & Hospice Nurse; and a loan officer. She resides in Florida and has 8 adult children-four of whom are combat Veterans-and nine grandchildren.
