Kimberly Stibbs Menster

Bio for Kimberly Stibbs Menster: After graduating from Citrus High School in Inverness, Florida, Kimberly served honorably in the active duty Air Force from 1991 - 1998 in the Security Forces career field, and from 1998 - 2001 in the USAF Reserves as an Individual Mobilization Augmentee. She was stationed at Upper Heyford, England, UK and Kelly AFB, Texas. She had a six month deployment to Al Kharj, Saudi Arabia in support of Operation Southern Watch in 1994 as well as several shorter deployments stateside and to Osan AFB, Korea.

While stationed at Kelly, Kimberly developed a previously non-existent Crime Prevention Program from the ground up. As an IMA, she was activated and assigned to the HQ AFSFC at Lackland AFB, TX acting as a Public Affairs Liaison for the Security Forces, and she starred in the 1999 Security Forces recruiting video.

In addition to the Air Force Commendation Medal (First Oak Leaf Cluster) and Air Force Achievement Medal, and Southwest Asia Service Medal, she was named Air Force Material Command Airman of the Year for 1996 and Air Force Security Forces Staff Level Airman of the Year for 1997.

After her military career, Kimberly moved back to Citrus County where she worked as the Chief Operating Officer for a collection firm. She is currently the County Veterans Service Officer for Citrus County, Florida, filing claims on behalf of veterans with the Veterans Benefits Administration for the over 28,000 veterans that live in Citrus County. She is active in the local YMCA, helping to design and build an obstacle course to provide veterans suffering from PTSD with a therapeutic outlet. She is also a proud wife to a Coast Guard veteran and mother of two children, ages 9 and 8.
